Ford offers a choice of two myFord Roadside Assistance plans – Prestige Roadside Assistance and Standard Roadside Assistance , depending on your vehicle and requirements. See below to find out more. 

myFord Standard Roadside Assistance

myFord Standard Roadside Assistance can assist in the event of:

  • Flat battery
  • Out of fuel
  • Flat tyre
  • Mechanical breakdown
  • Lockout

myFord Standard Roadside Assist offers services such as:

  • Towing
  • Urgent message relay
  • Taxi ($25 value incl. GST)

myFord Prestige Roadside Assistance

With myFord Prestige Roadside Assistance, you will enjoy all the benefits of myFord Standard Roadside Assistance, plus:

  • Taxi ($50 value incl. GST)
  • Accommodation
  • Rental vehicle
  • Vehicle recovery

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for myFord Roadside Assistance, vehicles must be Ford vehicles less than 7 years of age.

Please note that the following will not be covered under myFord Roadside Assistance:

  • Bogged vehicles (excluding 4WD/AWD configurations covered by Prestige Roadside Assistance)
  • Vehicles over 7 years old
  • Non-Ford vehicles
  • Unregistered vehicles
  • Caravans and trailers
  • Vehicles in a remote location (that is, a road not trafficable by a 2 wheel drive recovery vehicle)
  • Vehicles over 2.5 tonnes
  • Unattended vehicles
  • Taxis
  • Vehicles with major body modifications
  • Cost of repairs unless covered by your Ford New Vehicle Warranty
  • Towing after an accident
  • Costs associated with rental vehicles unless where stated that myFord Roadside Assistance will pay.

 

 

myFord Roadside Assistance is not:

  • An insurance contract;
  • A vehicle extended warranty contract;
  • A vehicle liability contract; or
  • A personal injury insurance contract
  • In cases of mechanical breakdown, myFord Roadside Assistance requires that there be no fault on the part of the owner/driver for the vehicle failure.
  • Where a vehicle registered under myFord Roadside Assistance requires mechanical repairs, these repair costs will be the responsibility of the owner.
  • Should the driver or passengers of a vehicle registered under myFord Roadside require medical attention or evacuation, these costs will be the responsibility of the owner.
  • In the interest of providing a quality service, myFord Roadside Assistance reserves the right to amend or withdraw service where utilisation is excessive due to the lack of regular maintenance or failure to rectify any recurring fault. myFord Roadside Assistance also reserves the right to amend or withdraw service when the safety of the Assist Service provider may be placed at risk.
  • Service delays may be experienced in remote and sparsely populated locations and in the event of natural disaster (eg. floods).
  • myFord Roadside Assistance will accept no responsibility for the security and/or loss associated with the disabled vehicle's cargo.
  • All prices include GST
